Join me for a trunk show on November 14 from 10-6 at Zinc Art + Interiors in Edmonds. I will be celebrating the fourth anniversary of kimber elements, which was launched on 11.11.11, and unveiling an exclusive and limited edition called Aggregate.
Aggregate element is about memories that are set in stone. Inspired by my grandmother’s lockets, I wanted to create a body of work that’s about concealing memorabilia, keepsakes, reliquaries, remembrance and souvenirs. Aggregate element is a modern twist on the traditional locket; using simple clean lines, and angular dimensions, these lockets are made out of concrete and can’t be opened. Complemented by simple concrete earrings that are light, but made out of a heavy material.
If you are unable to attend the trunk show, stop by the store during business hours for fun shopping and champagne!
